대가 이자크 펄만의 특별한 총애를 받고 있는 22살의 역동적인 바이올린 비르투오조 한빈은 그의 뛰어난 레퍼토리 구성과, 타 장르와의 콜라보레이션으로 (“영감을 주고 혁신적이고 상쾌하다” – The New York Times) 클래식음악의 르네상스를 상징한다. 서울에서 태어난 한빈은 그의 나이 12살, 아이작 스턴을 기리는 42번째 그래미 어워드에서 국제적인 데뷔무대를 가졌다. 그 뒤 10년간 그는 줄리어드에서 이자크 펄만의 지도를 받고, 2009년 카네기 홀의 잔켈 홀에서 있었던 피터 마리노의 수상 공연에서 대단한 호평을 받은 데뷔무대를 갖은 후, Young Concert Artists International Auditions에서 우승하였다. 이번 시즌, 뉴욕 유스 심포니 오케스트라의 솔리스트로 ‘Christophper Cerrone”이 작곡한 바이올린과 오케스트라를 위해 쓰여진 “Still Life”란 곡을 세계 초연한다. 또한 그는 새로운 공연 프로그램인 “The Five Poisons”를 가지고 뉴욕에 있는 루빈 박물관과 베를린에서 연주할 예정이며, 최근 그는 파리의 루브르 박물관과 워싱턴 케네디 센터, 보스턴 이사벨라 스튜어트 가드너 박물관에서 공연을 가졌으며, 호주에서 퀸슬랜드 오케스트라와의 협연, 한국 주요 오케스트라인 서울, 부천, 대전 필하모닉 오케스트라와 협연을 한국과 일본에서 가졌다. 6세에 바이올린을 시작하여 그 해 첫 콩쿠르에서 우승한 한빈은 한국예술종합학교 예비학교의 최연소 학생으로 수학, 9세에 국내 유수의 콩쿠르에 입상 하였고 도미하였다.
펄만의 지도로 쇼스타코비치, 번스타인, 베르크, 스트라빈스키, 메시앙 등 20세기 작곡가들의 작품을 연구하고 있으며 사진, 패션, 그림, 문학 등 다양한 예술을 탐구하며 Bjork, Yoko Ono, Karl Lagerfeld, Gertrude Stein, David Bowie에게서 다양한 영감을 받고 있다.
시카고 스트라디바리우스 협회로부터 최연소로 수혜 받은 유한빈은 최초의 콘서트용 바이올린으로 알려진 1590년산 G.P. Maggini를 사용하고 있다.

A special protégé of the legendary Itzhak Perlman, the dynamic 22-year-old violin virtuoso Hahn-Bin embodies the renaissance of classical music, fusing his highly evocative repertoire with pop performance art in the "extraordinary, intelligent and beautiful" (The Washington Post) concerts of his "inspired, innovative and bracing" (The New York Times) programs.
Born in Seoul, Hahn-Bin made his international debut at age twelve at the 42nd Grammy Awards in an event honoring Isaac Stern. Following a decade under the tutelage of Itzhak Perlman at The Juilliard School, Hahn-Bin made his critically-acclaimed debut in 2009 at Carnegie’s Zankel Hall as the recipient of the Peter Marino Concert Prize, following his First Prize win at the prestigious Young Concert Artists International Auditions.
This season, Hahn-Bin returns to Carnegie Hall, performing the world premiere of "Still Life" for Violin and Orchestra, written by Christopher Cerrone and commissioned for Hahn-Bin by the New York Youth Symphony. The tour of his new recital project "The Five Poisons" will include performances in New York at the Rubin Museum of Art, and in Berlin at the Konzerthaus.
Hahn-Bin's recent engagements include Auditorium du Louvre in Paris, The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston, as well as appearances with the Queensland Orchestra in Australia, and all the major Korean orchestras including the Seoul, Bucheon, and Daejeon Philharmonics, both in Korea and on tour in Japan. Hahn-Bin is the recipient of an award from the Jack Romann Special Artists Fund of YCA.
